After listening to member feedback where you asked for more CDP in the North West, we are delighted to announce our first CDP Professional Director Series in our region which brings together four IoD accredited individual courses across a full day.
In an economy that’s changing daily, it’s never been more important to be on top of your game with professional development. Whether you’ve been a director for days or decades, there is always something new to discover about the role, your responsibilities, and the business world around you.
Each course is designed to help you understand your role as a director, and future-proof your board and organisation and learn about topics that really matter. The whole series is mapped to the IoD Director Competency Framework, keeping your learning relevant, up-to-date and in line with your professional development ambitions. Whether you’re embarking on the Certificate in Company Direction or are a qualified Chartered Director, this CPD series is the perfect accompaniment - or refresher – to your existing knowledge.
You’ll also be part of a group of leaders from organisations of all shapes and sizes across the North West, giving you the opportunity to connect, learn from each other, share your setbacks and successes, and encourage each other at the most senior level.
The morning session with include two carefully designed courses on 'Strategic Decision Making' and 'Improving Board Dynamics'. The afternoon session will explore the popular courses 'Practical Tips for Becoming a NED and 'Step to the Top'.
The course will take place at Kuits Solicitors in Manchester on Friday 25th October and will run from 9:00am – 16:30pm. You’re welcome to register either for the morning or afternoon sessions which are 3.5 hours, or you can opt to attend the full day.
We’d love to see you there! If you’d like to find out more or book on, please visit our event page here. Or for any questions feel free to contact Lauren.Mullan@iod.com.
