The IoD Leadership Dividend Report reveals higher work performance in Directors thanks to training
The Institute of Directors (IoD) Leadership Dividend report shows that business leaders who have received leadership and management training perform better in business.
The report was commissioned to determine the value of professional development for directors and managers. The study found that more than half of business leaders that received professional training said it had a positive impact on their organisation’s productivity and skills.
Nine out of ten respondents agreed that their work performance had improved as a result of their training, and more than 60 per cent of those surveyed who had taken part in training said it had positively impacted their company’s productivity.
The Leadership Dividend report illustrates how important is it for business leaders to invest in management and leadership training for potential staff members to fulfil future director positions.
The Institute of Directors (IoD) East of England works with business leaders from across the economy to provide access to internationally recognised courses and qualifications.
Known for their support in helping business leaders reach their full potential, they recognise the need to bring in a pipeline of leaders as new directors of business.
