Q: How long have you been involved with the IoD?
Since August 2018
Q: Can you tell us a little about your career to date?
I am an accounting and financial management student at the University of Suffolk and have just started my second year. I am also course leader and a student ambassador as well as a part time Sales Assistant at Tesco.
Q: If you could give your 21-year-old self some advice what would it be?
I am currently 21, therefore I am always telling myself to work hard and to celebrate my achievements. That every encounter with a person is important and to always stand up for what I believe in.
Q: What keeps you busy outside of work?
I volunteer for a local nursery and I am currently learning Spanish. I frequently go to the gym and spend time with my boyfriend, friends and family.
Q: Are there any business related or policy issues that keep you awake at night?
None that keep me awake, but the uncertainty of Brexit makes me have little hope for business start ups and overseas development.
Q: Why do you think business leaders should join the IoD?
The IoD helps bring together business people to network, deliver workshops and as a result, improve your business self.
