The Institute of Directors Essex Branch were delighted to host the Thought Leadership Dinner in collaboration with The Supply Chain Academy, exchanging some interesting questions and ideas about Global Trade Opportunities in light of the ongoing Brexit negotiations.
This sold out event was attended by leading directors from across Essex and Kent, each of whom hoped to find out more about global trade opportunities available both now and in the future.
Allie Renison, Head of Europe & Trade Policy for the IoD and Gary Cobbing, Commercial Director for the Uniserve Group gave some thought provoking insights and advice on how businesses can maximise global trade opportunities, ensuring everyone left with some ideas of how to put best practice into their businesses.
Attendees benefited from an in depth look at Customs and VAT, an update on Brexit negotiations and an explanation of what the IoD is doing to get as much clarity and certainty from the government as possible.
This successful event was hosted by Supply Chain Academy, providers of innovative learning experiences for CEOs & Executives to explore and overcome supply chain these issues, at their state of the art training centre located at Upminster Court. This beautiful location provides an environment for executives to come together, to develop ideas and to plan exciting futures. For the IoD Essex Thought Leadership Dinner attendees were treated to an excellent three course meal and some useful networking opportunities in the bar afterwards.
