IoD Ambassadors play a vital role in the function of the IoD, primarily providing a local ‘voice’ and presence to the Institute. 
 
IoD Ambassadors are part of Branch leadership teams and have a key role to play in the development of the IoD.
 
They are tuned into local issues and each has a specific area of expertise or knowledge that enables them to make valuable contributions to a programme of relevant and engaging events to inspire members. 
 
The IoD Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Branch is seeking Ambassadors (who are already members) to fulfil the following roles:
 
• Arts and Culture
• Chartered Director & Professional Development
• Governance and Policy
• PR & Communications
• Skills and Education
• Young Directors

 

The Branch is keen to have a diverse and inclusive team and encourages all our members with relevant experience to apply.

 

How to apply 
Interested candidates should send their CV and covering letter to:iod.eastmidlands@iod.com by 5th of October. Interviews on the 14th and 15th of October between 9am and 12pm. Decisions will be made on the 19th of October between 2pm and 4pm. The first branch committee meeting will take place on Wednesday the 11th of November between 6pm and 8pm. Please include your preferred interview date and we will accommodate requests where possible.
