The branches are two of the three which make up the IoD East Midlands region; the other is the Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland Branch.
The successful candidate will lead a branch committee, supporting IoD members to connect with one another, develop professionally as directors and influence policy and decision makers at the highest levels.
Gary Headland, the newly appointed Regional Chairman of IoD East Midlands, said: “This is a terrific opportunity to join a new and vibrant East Midlands team and to play a leading role in the recovery of business across our region.
“I know from experience having been the chair of the Greater Lincolnshire Branch for the past four years that this voluntary role is incredibly interesting and the ability to help other business leaders is very rewarding.”
The successful candidates do not need to be an IoD member to apply but do need to be an IoD member at the point at which they assume the role.
Interested candidates should send their CV and covering letter to: firstname.lastname@example.org by 29 June with interviews on 9 July.
