Would you like to be an IoD Education Ambassador?

An amazing opportunity is being offered for you to be a part of a prestigious, influential group. IoD’s largest branch Central London, is looking for dynamic, innovative, collaborative individuals to be a part of the Education Special Interest Group Leadership Team, led by Education Chair, Jo Warner.

Do you have the skills and qualities to be a part of a strong, supportive team who are able to collectively create opportunities for growth in the Education Sector and beyond?

Our world-leading events are attended by members and non-members from across the globe. We would like to expand our reach and increase our impact with the addition of your well-connected influence.

Do you have ideas for making a positive impact in relation to Education’s role in UNESCO’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals?

Do you have a passion for and wish to be instrumental in effecting change for the better?

If you have answered yes to the above, we are looking for you!

Please note, these probono roles are for the Education Group, however, we are interested in your own personal skills and attributes and therefore, applicants from all sectors are encouraged to apply.

Branch ambassadors’ activities will include:

  • SIG Strategy Support: Providing secretarial support
  • Event Expertise: Creating and managing hybrid events
  • Collaboration Expertise: Creating collaborative relationships
  • Community Leadership: Furthering community engagement
  • Digital Leadership: Managing social media and marketing
  • Visioning: Understanding future of EdTech and Educational landscape
  • Sponsorship Strategy : Encouraging and sourcing sponsorship

The pro-bono roles will offer the successful candidates an opportunity to work with and showcase their skills to prominent business and educational leaders. As an envoy of IoD Central London Branch Committee, you will be a role model for our student members, an agent for community building with our members and a representative of the prestigious IoD brand. On occasion, there will opportunities to deputise for the Chair.
