The Institute of Directors is seeking a new secretary for its Central London branch.
The branch is one of two in the capital, the other being City of London branch, and is the largest IoD branch in the world.
The branch plans to strengthen its presence and membership activities and is inviting applications for the role of branch secretary.
The branch secretary will work closely with the Chair of Central London and its Senior Branch Manager and support the functioning of the Central London branch committee. Duties include convening all committee meetings, supporting the branch chair in preparing an agenda plan for the year and monitoring progress on goals and projects.
The role provides opportunities to collaborate with seasoned business leaders and enhance networks through connecting with IoD members and key stakeholders in the London region.
As this is a pro-bono role, the successful applicant will be encouraged to suggest, support or lead on new ideas and projects aligned to IoD Central London strategy which plays to their strengths and areas of interest.
