Sylvia is DevelopHer Tech Star 2017 Winner and Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2018 Finalist in the Science and Technology Category, an award to recognise and celebrate the phenomenal Asian women across the UK and across industries, who are making a valuable and important contribution to British life. Sylvia is a STEM/STEAM Ambassador, speaks regularly at universities and schools to help students understand skill requirements and future tech trends in the tech industry. 


Andy Thomas, CEO, KYND
Andy has more than 20 years of experience leading start up and growth phase businesses within the global cyber security market.

Now as the founder and CEO of KYND his aim is to make complex cyber risks simple to understand so organisations of any size can take action where necessary and be alerted to future risks as they arise.


  

Melanie Hayes, CMO, KYND
Melanie is the Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of KYND. Her aim is to make complex cyber risks simple; in a language you don’t need to be an IT guru to understand so organisations of any size can take action where necessary.




  

Chris Roberts, Head of Transactions, Code Investing
Chris spent 13 years of his career with a high street bank institution, covering a variety of roles from Retail, Private Banking, Business Banking, Real Estate Finance, Credit, Distressed/Stressed Debt Management and latterly Leverage/Structured Finance, until his present Origination role when he joined CODE in 2018. 




Renaud Million, co-founder and CEO of Spixii
Spixii is an award winning InsurTech company dedicated to helping more people get better protected through automated technology. After studying engineering at Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Renaud moved to England and finished his education with an MSc in Operational Research & Management Sciences at Lancaster University. He proceeded to serve EY London for six years, consulting insurance companies and building risk models while training for the British actuarial profession. Passionate about transforming the insurance industry, the move to start Spixii was a natural fit.

Anjola Adeniyi, Technical Account Manager, Securonix
Anjola is a Non-Executive Director of Royal Over-Seas League, a non-profit organisation and a major supporter of the arts. He is also on the Advisory Board of Cyber Rescue Alliance, a leading consultancy helping CEOs lead commercial recovery when hackers have breached their defences, and the board a charity, Getting on Board, working to improve the governance of charities and public sector bodies. He also completed the Board Apprentice programme on the board of a JPMorgan FTSE250 investment trust.


Bob Driver - Head of UK5G
Bob leads the UK5G programme on behalf of CW. CW is the lead partner for a consortium chosen by the Department of Digital, Culture Media and Sport, to create and deliver the national 5G Innovation Network called UK5G. UK5G brings together and markets the UK’s 5G eco-system - including the national Testbed & Trials programme along with other business-led 5G initiatives.


  

James Herbert ��� Founder & CEO, Hastee Pay
James created Hastee to change the way people are paid forever, enabling people to receive a portion of their earned pay on-demand to reduce financial stress and increase the productivity of employees and their organisations. Hastee removes the friction between working and being able to benefit from the fruits of that labour.


  


Mark Stansfeld, Chairman, giffgaff, WLEP and Worcestershire 5G Consortium
Alongside Mark's Executive Director roles, he held Non Executive roles on a number of boards spanning technology, finance and health. These included The Link Retail, West Bromwich Building Society, NHS West Midlands Strategic Health Authority, Ovo energy, and at O2 UK.

Nick has promoted better collaboration between the public and private sectors around the world. His professional background is in corporate finance. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and an Associate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Matt Palmer is an award winning security innovator, leader, and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Delivering strategic change and transformation in cyber risk and security by helping organisations to understand, quantify, and act on their risk.



Danny Simpson, CEO, MID Communications LTD
Danny Simpson is the CEO of MID Communications LTD, the largest independent franchise of Telefonica O2 UK, providing both B2B and B2C services across 17 retail stores throughout the Northwest and a business centre based n Rochdale. The 15-year industry knowledge has seen Danny start his career back when GPRS was the only form of mobile internet and he also experienced the launch and impact of both 3G and 4G. He has also witnessed the release of the first ever iPhone in the telco marketplace along with many other tech gadgets like wearables, smart tech, innovative apps and especially tablets. Danny has seen how each of these have cannibalised the market in laptops to how the digital landscape has changed and works in our world as it is today.


Richard Maybury, Purpose, Results & Priority Management Trainer & Speaker, Attitude Solutions
Through his specialist training business, Attitude Solutions, Richard has been equipping and enabling his clients’ people to manage their competing priorities and deliver their business-critical results easier every day through leveraging their technology. Kamile Stankute, External Affairs Manager, Institute of Directors (IoD)   

Kamile Stankute joined the Institute of Directors in November 2016 as Parliamentary Affairs Officer. She now holds the position of External Affairs Manager. Kamile joined the IoD after graduating from King’s College London with MA in Politics and Contemporary History. Her role is managing day to day relations with MPs, government departments and assisting with policy developments and research. She is also involved in the IoD’s Mental Health in the Workplace campaign and has written a policy report on Managing Mental Health in Changing Business Environments. Kamile has previous experience in public affairs, interning at agencies and in-house.


Tom Hadley, Director of Policy & Campaigns, Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC   

REC is the professional body for the UK recruitment industry, representing 3,500 corporate members and over 11,500 individual members of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP). Areas of responsibility include government relations, compliance policy and driving proactive campaigns in areas such as inclusion and social mobility, skills, good recruitment, immigration and the future of jobs. Tom is a regular media commentator and was a board member of the World Employment Confederation (Europe).He also represents the REC on a number of government advisory forums and committees and works with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in the ‘capacity building’ of business organisations around the world. Previous jobs have included working for the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the European Commission and for the French multi-national Vivendi.


John Preston - Director Superstarbots   

Originally from a multi million pound branded sales and marketing background to a gym owner and successful online coach, John is now the Go To expert for Social Media Marketing, Messenger Marketing and Automation. John is based in Manchester and runs the SuperstarBots agency, Manychat UK Networking Group and was one of the first worldwide to be recognised with the Manychat Marketing Expert award & more recently as an Educator Partner.
