Let’s Talk! Board Governance Crisis

02 Dec 2021
Online, Online

Raising awareness on Board governance issues.

Board governance is in crisis. A lot of the challenges we face today on the SDG goals is because for the past few decades, Boards have not governed the way they should have. Furthermore, we are seeing a huge resistance to Boards changing or for that matter, welcoming new and diverse thinkers through the Boardroom door.

How strong is this resistance? What are we witnessing in Boardrooms that accentuates the need to relook at our Boardroom strategies? What can make the biggest impact in the shortest possible time? Or maybe you simply don't agree with the assertion that significant changed is needed?

Join Let’s Talk! hosts, along with Chair of the Young Executive Group, Nzube Ufodike, and a diverse panel as we unpack these topics.

The panel chat will be followed by a VIP Round Table (Zoom style) for you to engage with your thoughts and ideas around why and how we can strengthen, or indeed in some cases, overhaul, Board governance practices, for the better.

The event is open to members and non-members, so Let’s Talk!
