IoD in association with the Business Innovation South Expo - Speaker Session 2
As a supporter and exhibitor of the Business Innovation South Expo in Southampton the IoD are inviting our members to join the FREE Speaker Webinars for the event.
In light of social distancing regulations around covid-19, this year all speaker sessions are being hosted live on a virtual web conferencing platform ahead of the expo. There will be three events - on 12 May, 16th June and 7th July.
Each conference runs from 10.00am-12.30pm and we will ensure there are Q&A sessions at the end of each session. Speaker sessions will be approximately 20 mins and panel sessions approximately 40 mins with short rest breaks between sessions. You can see the speakers for this event on 16th June below.
Please book via the link below and you will receive a link to attend the event via email from the IoD the day before the event.

“When we invest in people to play their best game, they will raise their game… and the rest will rise with it!” The key to building a resilient, productive, connected workforce, is to invest in everyone’s mental-wealth and, by doing so, to develop a sustainable coaching culture. Hummingbee Works collaborates with organisations who see the value and return in this investment.
Engaging initially with the leadership team to ensure clarity and consistency of purpose and values, they run group coaching programmes for everyone, introducing those tough “human” skills which we should all have access to.
People learn together how to; navigate change with confidence, regulate and understand the power of their thoughts, choose their behaviours, build their resilience, and their capacity to thrive. The very experience creates self-awareness and forges healthy and productive connections.
Champion of all things people - Alice has spent over 20 years in the training and coaching arena. She draws on all her experiences and lessons learnt from work and life; from being an in-house People and Training Director, to running her own Training and Coaching business, whilst also chasing her tail somewhat as a single mother of 3 teenagers and 2 loopy dogs.
She is an NLP Practitioner and an accredited Behaviour Profiling Coach. SUSTAINABILITY PANEL
The Expo has brought together a panel drawn from local academia and business each specialising in a different sector, to discuss the practicalities and opportunities that becoming sustainable can bring.
