This event is open to both members and non-members with a small nominal charge for non-members.

Judeline Nicholas of Judeline Nicholas Associates
IoD Norfork Ambassador and IoD East advisor for Diversity & Inclusion

Judeline works with organisations to enrich opportunities to develop their people to be the best they can be.  With over 30 years’ experience of supporting clients in public, private and charitable sectors, she provides consultancy services and courses in the UK and US.  Her passion is People Skills with her niche being - equity, diversity, and inclusion matters: reviewing policy and working practices, designing, and facilitating learning programmes, and drawing on her experiences as a Lay Panel Member of Employment Tribunals.

Judeline was highly commended for her work on EDI by the Institute of Directors and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.  She also coaches C-Suite, Boards and aspiring leaders through challenging conversations to achieve their personal and business aspirations.

Why she does this?  Judeline believes in Accentuating the Positive and Releasing the potential …. and she does exactly that!

Leona Barr-Jones of Focus7
Former IoD Ambassador for Diversity & Inclusion and the Armed Forces

Leona has spent over 30 years in the Military, 21 years as a Regular Army Officer, commanding troops on Operations in Bosnia and Kosovo, working in Army HQ, MoD Head Office, Whitehall working on People Strategy, Defence Diplomacy, International Policy and Planning.  She still serves in the Army Reserve and is currently Colonel Commandant of Essex Army Cadet Force (ACF).

Leona is co-founder and COO of Focus7, a leading award wining purpose-led, brand and digital marketing agency based in Hertfordshire. She also delivers strategy, direction and inclusive leadership training to boards of Directors and Trustees.

As well as a Fellow of IoD, Leona is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and Institute of Leadership and Management (FInstLM), holding CMI Level 7 & 8 in Direction, Leadership and Management.

Leona is IoD Inclusive Director of the Year 2019 and a Soldiering on Award 2020 winner for her lifelong work on inclusive leadership within Defence.
