IoD South Online: Agile working - a complete new business model or just a pandemic necessity?

12 Nov 2020
Online webinar, Online
With agile working currently being a necessity for many businesses, this webinar considers whether this is an opportunity to move to a complete distanced worker business model.

Is this an opportunity to implement radical change? What are the benefits and pitfalls? How does creativity and innovation continue to thrive without face-to-face interaction?

This webinar positions the academic data in how single site business models developed, considering the traditional journey of an entrepreneurial business from kitchen table to office and how the large office may have had its day. We hear from a business leader who left an office based environment behind to create a fully distanced workforce. We will hear about the lessons learnt during their transition and the insights they can offer after ten years working from home.

Specifically, the webinar will consider those areas where a shared location is seen to traditionally excel, such as collaboration, innovation and creativity and how this can be achieved in a distanced team.

Introduced by IoD South Chartered Directors, this webinar will provide insights into distanced working to underpin strategic decisions on the future of the workforce location seeking to challenge perceptions and open opportunities for the future.
