We are all facing testing times with the COVID-19 outbreak. This can make leadership a lonely place, with the potential to impact on our mental wellbeing.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm the Managing Director of a local SME in the Engineering sector.

Some time ago, I put together the terms of reference for a North East IoD Mastermind group and was grateful for the endorsement of the IoD Chair. Whilst I still intend to pursue this, I think there is a more acute need today.

I'd like to hear from other local business leaders, ideally from other SMEs who don't necessarily have the resources of large corporates.

My offer is to host a regular (weekly initially) virtual meeting to allow us to share challenges and discuss how we are dealing with the coronavirus challenge. In doing so, we will create a valuable peer to peer support network. In time, the participants may then wish to join the Mastermind group(s).
