Policy Event

Navigating Brexit: Migration after Brexit – The Future of Labour Mobility

22 Oct 2019
Institute of Directors, London

The IoD’s hugely popular Navigating Brexit event series is returning for a final set of instalments in the run-up to the 31st October, when the possibility of the UK leaving the EU without a deal could turn from risk into reality.

As the countdown begins (again), the IoD is committed to bringing together a panoply of experts in their field who can cut through the political noise to bring directors clear, factual information about what changes may be in the offing and how to prepare one’s organisation as best as possible.

This workshop will focus on what a no-deal Brexit means for your workforce in terms of immigration and labour mobility. It will describe the changes to existing arrangements that could be applicable in a no-deal scenario come October 31.

Joining this roundtable workshop will be a number of highly-esteemed experts in the field of immigration and citizens’ rights. They will provide an overview of policy developments, delving into what we know so far about the no-deal landscape. Our respected practitioners will also provide helpful advice on how you can prepare your business for a no-deal exit and where you can find further information. Experts will discuss a range of topic areas related to people and workforce, from Settled Status and European Temporary Leave to Remain as well as provisions for UK citizens in EU27 countries.

The workshop will allow attendees to submit their specific questions to our experts.

This workshop is essential for business leaders seeking practical guidance and tips on how they can best prepare for their firms for a no-deal exit.
