The IoD Isle of Man Branch is pleased to welcome Sasha Wiggins as our guest speaker. Sasha has had an interesting career to date and we look forward to hearing her presentation.

The lunch event kindly sponsored by Barclays will begin at 11:45am, giving guests a chance to mingle with fellow attendees in the Blue Room, The Claremont Hotel. Lunch will be served promptly at 12:15pm, with a view to the event closing around 2pm.

As usual we will be holding a raffle for a local Isle of Man charity.

Speakers

Sasha became the Group Chief of Staff to the Group CEO in April 2018. Prior to this she was Managing Director for the East and South East of the UK Corporate Banking business and had National responsibility for developing and executing our strategy for the Mid-Corporate client segment.

She was also CEO for Barclays Bank Ireland PLC and has held senior positions within Barclays Wealth and Investment Management Division in London, where she headed up the bank's Charities and Professionals business. Sasha joined Barclays in 2002 as a Private Banker and was previously a Stockbroker.

Sasha has significant experience of communicating with external stakeholders including C-suite-clients, regulators, Government Ministers and the media. She dedicates considerable time and energy to the diversity agenda, speaking at many internal and external events. Sasha is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has 20 years' investment experience.
