Paul is an active and enthusiastic business developer and facilitator with a wealth of experience and worldwide network, spanning several trade and industrial sectors. His key skills are chairmanship, mentoring, deal making and empowering good ideas and bright people to succeed.
Paul attributes his success to his days competing with huge multi-nationals like Nestlé and Unilever and selling to very powerful retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, etc. He and a business partner founded and developed nine start-ups over the next 10 years, covering a diversity of trades and industries including Traffic Management, Media Ownership, Car Park & Key Worker Home Construction and Self-Storage. Several of these companies were sold and moved on to second generation management for fast track development. Two companies were recapitalised for further expansion through the sale of minority stakes to Venture Capital Trusts. Others have been retained.
Dr Xiaohan Pan
Dr Xiaohan Pan is co-founder and CEO of Ark Wealth in London. Prior to that, she worked as an equity analyst at Sloane Robinson, responsible for stock selection in the Asia-ex-Japan region. She holds a bachelor degree from Zhejiang University and a doctorate degree from the University of Cambridge, fully sponsored by Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Xiaohan also assumes Director of Cantab College in Cambridge, Executive Director of Zhejiang UK Alumni Association and Executive Director of Gates Biennial.
Agne is the Investment Director for Envestors, a fintech company that connects investors with start-ups. She is FCA approved and highly experienced in early-stage investment decision-making, investor relations, start-up ecosystems and Enterprise Investment Schemes (SEIS/EIS). Since joining Envestors in 2015, she has facilitated over £10m of investment in numerous deals. Agne also speaks five languages and holds a Master’s degree in the Political Economy of China from Kings College London.
Colin founded the London Angel Club for Angels Den, which typically raises £1m to £2m for 5 to 8 business per year and also delivers their Masterclasses for new Angel Investors. He is also a Founder Member of the Guild of Entrepreneurs, one of the new City Livery Companies and co-leads the meetings of the 3Cs Community on a pro-bono basis, which encourages entrepreneurs based on a "pay it forward" principal.
