About The Jubilee Sailing Trust
The Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) was founded by a grant from The Queen’s Silver Jubilee Fund in the late 1970’s.
For the past 40 years, we have been helping a diverse range of people facing challenges in their daily lives by:
- Providing liberation from their restrictions
- Helping to transform fear into freedom
- Allowing individuals to explore their ability, potential and place in the world
The JST achieves this by creating a safe, inclusive and non-discriminatory community environment on board two flagships, which sail the high seas with a crew of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Over the years, the JST has been recognised for our work and, in 2015, was accredited by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in recognition of our outstanding contribution to this community.
We are now seeking like-minded partners to join our mission and, at the same time, strengthen their own organisations by enabling staff to explore new abilities, talent and potential.
We hope you will be inspired to come on board with us and, in doing so, have a transformative impact on your colleagues and those facing challenges within the communities you serve.
