This bootcamp is for new Directors, anyone soon to be appointed to a board or any Directors who would like to brush up on their responsibilities. It will be appropriate for Directors in any sector – private, social enterprise, charity and public.
The delivery will be mostly informal as delegates hear from a panel of experienced directors talking about their personal experiences. You will be able to assess your knowledge level in the role of director, including legal and financial responsibilities and learn how to avoid issues that can lead to spectacular corporate governance failures.

Judith Totten is the majority shareholder and Managing Director of Upstream Working Capital Ltd, a company she originally established 2011 as an independent provider of working capital funding for Northern Ireland SME’s.
Upstream currently supports funding in excess of £100M to indigenous NI businesses and Judith is driven to see the alternative finance market growing exponentially in the years ahead.
Judith is also a board member of Invest NI, sits on the Council of The Princes Trust in NI and has most recently been appointed Non-Executive Chairperson of Serious PR, a successful locally owned PR and communications business.
