Dave Hopkins – Intellectual Property Office
Dave Hopkins is the Business Engagement Manager for the Intellectual Property Office holding a number of key roles over the last 20 years.
Dave works within the Business Support Policy Team and is primarily responsible for working with a range of local, regional and national organisations to help promote intellectual property rights to UK businesses.
Prior to joining the Office Dave has worked in a broad range of private sector organisations including manufacturing, distribution, retail and insurance.
Dave gives presentations on IP at a range of professional conferences, workshops and events and has had a number of articles published.
Rosie Hardy – Withers & Rogers LLP
Rosie Hardy BSc (Physics), CPA, EPA. Rosie is a patent attorney who has extensive experience in securing patent protection throughout a range of applications including electromechanical devices, power generation, clean technology, automotive parts, rail, oil and gas exploration, medical apparatus and consumer products.
Rosie works with a wide range of clients from individuals to multinational corporations, universities, overseas clients and business support agencies and has particular expertise in developing commercially effective intellectual property portfolios.
In addition to drafting and prosecuting patent applications, Rosie specialises in managing and enforcing patent rights for her clients as well as opposing and avoiding infringement of third party patents.
