The IoD aims to ensure that tomorrow’s leaders are represented and supported, which is why we’ve created the Young Directors Forum.
The Young Director’s Forum (YDF) is a national IoD initiative to engage younger directors and those new to business. In Wales, we are committed to providing opportunities for the personal development of young entrepreneurs and managers in a strong business environment, enhancing their skills both online and offline through workshops, events and networking with like-minded individuals
While age is no barrier to those looking to join, the YDF aims to support those who are young in business or new to business.
Through its branch network, the YDF offers regular opportunities for members and non-members to engage with their branches to learn more about issues facing directors and to access mentoring, event-based learning and strong networking possibilities.
YDF provides a direct route to the wealth of experience within the IoD membership. It brings business leaders together on a peer-to-peer level to share stories and support each other with practical advice, contributing to the pooling of ideas and inspiration on everything from best practice to useful case studies.
