We are into the final furlong! The deadline for getting a Brexit withdrawal agreement is fast approaching and - as you will have seen in the news almost daily – there is still a great deal yet to cover.
Both the Government and the EU Commission remain clear that they are working towards a negotiated deal. But we know from recent surveys that many IoD members are looking at contingency plans.
This month’s Policy Voice survey for IoD members is now open and we’re looking to find out how well the Government is doing to help you prepare for UK’s exit from the EU.
What support do you expect from the Government? What does a ‘no-deal’ mean for your business? As the IoD goes into top-level meetings on behalf of members in Westminster and beyond, these are the questions that Ministers will want answers to.
Policy Voice has been a key resource for Government departments as they have tracked business priorities throughout the negotiations, and with two months to go, it is as important as ever.

We have recently published guidance on Government’s Brexit ‘no-deal’ technical notices - read here.
The IoD also issued no-deal guidance available exclusively to members in June2018. Business Planning for Brexit, authored by Head of Europe and Trade Policy Allie Renison, sets out what trading with the EU as a “third country” entails. This will be updated to reflect technical notices and further progress on the Withdrawal Agreement.
