The IoD Wales Young Directors' Forum was launched in May 2005. It is a multi-sectoral forum for representation and professional development focusing on the senior-most emerging leaders: identified as the "Leaders Designates." These are the entrepreneurs, senior managers, junior and senior directors who are on the verge of taking up positions of leadership. The Forum is run by a dedicated steering group under the umbrella of the South & West Wales Committee and headed up by Huw Lewis. Further information will be added here soon.

Our aim is to represent and support tomorrow's leaders today. As part of this we are piloting major initiatives for the IoD's word with this membership group, as well as engaging with regional forums and groups targeting this profile. Our input includes development of lobbying platforms for issues of importance to our membership through to supporting your professional and business development via high quality seminars and courses. We are also actively angaged with the other YDF initiatives nationally to promote and develop the IoD and its key themes of representing business leaders in their personal and professional lives.
As a member you are automatically assigned a branch and encouraged to give your views on local issues and take advantage of networking opportunities in your area. all members are welcome to attend events at any branch.
