The IoD South West region is one of the most active and vibrant in the UK, representing almost 3000 members spread across 6 local branches - in Bath & Wiltshire, Bristol, Devon & Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Somerset.
The South West Region is renowned for its programme of informative, inspirational and valuable business events. These include exclusive company visits and presentations, breakfasts with successful business speakers and dinners with entrepreneurs - all opportunities for you to learn, connect and build your business network.
The South West regional office is located within the stunning Bristol and Bath Science Park and is headed up by Regional Director Simon Face. The regional team aims to provide information, support and guidance for directors, entrepreneurs and other business leaders, helping their businesses to thrive and grow.
We are also extremely grateful to our many South West Committee Members whose ideas, experience and contacts within the South West business community ensures the success of these events.

These 90 minute interactive case-study led CPD workshops open to both members and non-members cover the latest in strategy,leadership and governance best practice with added opportunities for peer-learning and networking.

This year, IoD South West is pleased to announce the Entrepreneurs Summer Celebration and Director of the Year Awards at a superb
New venue – Bordeaux Quay on Bristol’s historic waterfront.
The IoD South West Director of the Year Awards recognise and celebrate the role of entrepreneurs, company directors and other enterprise leaders in building business success, creating wealth and growing the economy.
This year the judges have selected 10 individuals who have been shortlisted in the IoD South West Director of the Year Awards.

The Bristol Distinguished Executive Address Series is delivered by the Bristol Business School in partnership with Bristol City Council, Bristol Post, Business West, CBI,CMI, IoD and West of England LEP. It provides a unique opportunity to hear about the challenges, issues and decisions being made at the highest level of strategic leadership.
