Richard Maybury, our People Forum host describes this event ‘My vision for the People Forum is that it is a relevant ‘Trusted Place’. One where IoD members and guests who are engaged in the recruitment, leadership, development and exiting of people from their businesses can have meaningful conversations with other business leaders and those engaged in providing HR, development and legal services to businesses within the region.’
The emphasis is on conversations so there is no longer a fixed, restrictive agenda (but the meeting will be facilitated), no ‘Talking Head’ presentations to listen to and no selling to be subjected to! Instead it is an opportunity to look over the horizon, ask and answer questions, float ideas, share news, give and get energy for the day ahead.
