An evening of great Tuscan wines with Castello Vicchiomaggio
We are pleased to announce that the next in our Directors' Wine Evening series will feature the wines of Castello Vicchiomaggio. Named as the IWSC Italian Wine Makers of the Year in 1997, 2002, 2005 & 2010, the estate is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. The castello produces wine on the land surrounding Vicchiomaggio through an ancient tradition which is actively preserved by the present estate owners.
The evening will feature vintages hand-picked by the estate owner, John Matta, and IoD Executive Chef Roger Evans will create a menu to bring out the flavours of each wine presented.
