Neil Taylor, Creative Director of The Writer, will be joining us at a free breakfast event on Monday 29 October, here at Pall Mall. The Writer is the world’s largest language consultancy, and Neil spends most of his time travelling the world, training people to become more effective writers at work. He regularly appears on tv and radio discussing language and business.

Why Words Mean Numbers

Business ideas live in words: strategies, presentations, CEOs’ speeches, emails, customer communications. Yet most businesses don’t understand the power language has in their organisations; that’s why most corporate language is vague, generic, and worst of all, deathly dull.

The Writer is the world’s largest language consultancy, working with people like PwC, E.ON, Thames Water and The Economist. They’ll talk about how changing the language you use can change the culture of your organisation, help you stand out with customers, and even – if you’re really lucky – make and save you money.

Join us at this breakfast event, which is bound to be both interesting and informative, providing a whole host of hints and tips for how to get the most out of the written word.
