IoD Board and Council Governance Positions
In line with the changes to the IoD’s Constitution, approved by members at the AGM last year, the IoD is currently seeking to appoint a number of geographically based and directly appointed Council members. We are also looking to appoint several new Board members.
The IoD Council acts as the guardian of the Institute ensuring that the Charter objects are delivered.
The IoD Board acts as a unitary board with full responsibility for the Institute. The Board directs all the affairs of the IoD and carries all liabilities for the Institute.
The application process for these roles will open from mid-February.
