Director of Membership
We are seeking a Director of Membership to take a leading role in our strategic development, spearheading the growth and retention of our membership base. The role will be responsible for membership acquisition and the development of a full range of added value member services.
The Director of Membership is a senior role reporting to the Managing Director, Membership.
The successful applicant will be commercially focused and have a comprehensive understanding of a complex, ambitious membership organisation. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop networks and achieve commercial targets by implementing effective strategies and efficient operations.
The candidate will need to be an excellent communicator, an inspiring leader and a collaborative colleague. Working across various departments within the IoD, the role requires energy and commitment and an ability to understand the requirements of senior business leaders and decision makers.
The IoD’s current business projects include a new membership proposition, expansion of its professional development activities, a new IT platform supporting a new CRM system and website, an operational review and a high performance culture programme.
